Fighting Burrito moves to new location

If you’ve been on Welch in the last week, you’ve probably noticed your favorite burrito joint has moved. If you haven’t been by, be sure to check out Fighting Burrito’s new location at 117 Welch Avenue – where Dairy Queen used to be. In an interview with the Iowa State Daily, owner Matthew Goodman said one of the big reasons for moving to Welch was to attract more customers. Since the previous location was a short walk from campus, it was more popular for those ISU students who lived off campus.

Fighting Burrito has normally drawn a lot of its business from late-night sales. But, Goodman is hoping the new location will become increasingly popular for lunch and dinner as well. The restaurant is open on the following days and times:

• Tuesday – 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
• Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday – 11 a.m. to 3 a.m.
• Friday and Saturday – 11 a.m. to 4 a.m.
