FAMILY OWNED & OPERATED
SINCE 1985

The Jensen Group is a collection of various family owned and operated entities.  At the Jensen Group we strive for excellence in all that we do. Our companies have served Central Iowa for over 30 years beginning as a home building company, Jensen Design Build, in 1985.  Over the last 30 years Dickson Jensen, owner of Jensen Group, and his staff have ventured into development, real estate, property management, design/build construction, and athletics.  The Jensen Group is proud to have a diverse skill set and vision from our employees resulting in many business entities that have impacted many lives over the last 30 years and we look forward to continuing to have that same or more significant impact for years to come.

DICKSON JENSEN

Dickson Jensen is a true Iowa product, born and raised in Audubon, IA, a graduate of Audubon High School and Iowa State University. Dickson holds three degrees from Iowa State University: Bachelors in Industrial Engineering, Masters in Engineering Valuation, and Masters of Business Administration. Upon graduating college, Dickson started a design build company called Jensen Design Build (JDB) in 1985. Over its first 10 years, JDB experienced success as a design build company for single family homes and multi-family apartment units, leading to the growth of an apartment rental division (Jensen Property Management - JPM) and development division (Jensen Development Corporation - JDC) within the company. The core of Jensen Group lies in these three companies and much of our work focuses on land development, construction, and operations of homes and rental units.

Dickson also has a great interest in athletics, leading to the development and ownership of The Harvester Golf Club in 2000. His desire was to bring a top 100 golf facility to the state of Iowa. The Harvester Golf Club has met and exceeded that goal and is something very special to Dickson.  In addition to golf, Dickson has a passion for youth athletics, in particular basketball.  In 2004 after years of coaching his sons' and daughters' teams and with the interest from others to expand, All Iowa Attack was created into a statewide basketball program.  All Iowa Attack is home to over 300 athletes a year and is something Dickson invests much of his time in as a hobby and also a way to help kids learn a game and learn about life through the game.  Dickson takes great pride in the kids that have played for All Iowa Attack and many have had their lives changed for the better as a result of playing for All Iowa Attack.

Dickson has done all of this while being a great example of a husband and father of a large family. Dickson has been married to his wife Luann since 1987 and they have six children: Zachary (passed away at the age of 1), Blake, Ally, Samantha, Mason, and Kolby.
